About

Started in 1924 by Lorenzo Michele Calosso, M. Calosso & Son began selling merchandise needed by local farmers.  In the 1930's he started offering boxes that he made in a small factory near the Italian Growers Market in Stockton, CA.  The business steadily grew and in the early 1950's Michele and his son, John, moved the business to its current location just blocks from the original site.

The founder's grandson, Michael Calosso, took over the business in 1980 and grew it into what it is today, focusing on supplying packaging for the local produce packing sheds and wood boxes for the wine and gift industry.

Mike had the pleasure of watching his grandson Cameron join the company and was thrilled to know that the family business has reached its 5th generation!
